Absztrakt (kivonat)

Rightist ideologies, rightist dictatures The left-right identification is a common way of classifying political posi- tions, ideologies, parties and regimes. Traditionally, the Left includes progressives, social liberals, social democrats, socialists, communists and anarchists. The Right includes conservatives, reactionaries, capitalists, monarchists, nationalists and fascists. The essay of Ignác Romsics gives a broad overview on European rightist ideologies and political regimes from the French Revolution to the present. Special attention is given to the French, Germain and Hungarian similarities and differences. The author makes clear difference among liberal and authoritarian conservatism on the one hand and conservatism, fascism and the various types of New Right on the other hand. As conclusion Romsics offers a typology which is based on theory of Norberto Bobbio.
