THE APPEARANCE OF THE TYPICAL FEATURES OF THE HUNGARIAN LANGUAGE USED BY THE HUNGARIAN MINORITY LIVING IN SLOVAKIA This paper deals with Hungarian grammar textbooks used in Slovakia. This research concentrates on the appearance of the typical features of the Hungarian language used by the Hungarian minority living in Slovakia. Hungarians living in Slovakia do not get the opportunity to experience their own dialect in (written) Hungarian textbooks. The problem is not about the written Hungarian standard but the incorrect evaluation of the language variations in the Hungarian textbooks. The task of the Hungarian textbooks used in Slovakia would be to transmit a suitable approach according to specific dialects. This research draws attention to the incorrect appearance of language variation in published books and the importance of their correction.
