Absztrakt (kivonat)

The main conclusions drawn from the empirical study carried out among the civil organisations in the County of Heves are as follows: 1. The majority of respondents is not aware of the energy policy conception, and nearly half of the organisations does not know that their opinions are taken into consideration at major energy policy decisions. 2. Renewable energy sources are supported by 93% over fossil fuels. 3. Among the factors influencing the settlement of plants, environmental protection takes first place, ahead of the utilisation of renewable energy sources, whereas the last is, well behind, the pay-out period. 4. Acceptance of the Mátra Power Plant and the mines integrated to it are low and opinions are more pessimistic than the reality; however, opinions on the power plant are far more advantageous among those working in the stricter environment of Visonta. By way of summary, it can be concluded that civil organisations in the County of Heves probably have far higher environmental awareness than necessary.
