We establish the log-concavity and the log-convexity properties for the hyperpell, hyperpell-lucas and associated sequences. Further, we investigate the q-log-concavity property. Keywords: hyperpell numbers; hyperpell-lucas numbers; log-concavity; q-logconcavity, log-convexity.
