Absztrakt (kivonat)

Crises accelerated the digital shift in higher education, making e-testing essential at Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University. While e-testing in mathematics is limited by its focus on final results over logic, he demand for rapid, objective feedback and the reduction of administrative burdens make computer-based systems essential in modern higher education. The present research is an exploratory case study focusing on the field of combinatorics, which serves as the foundation of probability theory and requires a high level of abstraction. The subjects of the study are students majoring in Accounting and Taxation at Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University, for whom a stochastic mindset is essential for their professional future. This study analyzes not only immediate performance but also the reliability of the assessment through the method of delayed testing. This approach enables the examination of “retained knowledge”, highlighting the extent to which knowledge acquired in a digital environment is integrated into long-term memory and can be considered genuine, applicable competence within an educational environment affected by crisis situations.
