(The prehistory of the properties of Eger archbishopric by the 1799 registration) The study sketches out the prehistory of the properties of Eger archbishopric, founded in 1804, and its economic status by the data of the 1799 Treasury Registration. The analysis explores the income structure and proportion of the property based on the feudal tenants and the domestic economy. Mention must be made of the most important conclusion: the domestic production of the estate was very low because of the ineffectiveness of the villein services.
