Absztrakt (kivonat)

Biodiversity is chiefly the result of evolution and adjustment to local conditions. The arrival of new species to a given ecosystem is a natural phenomenon. Recently, the pace of species spreading has accelerated as a result of commercial activities, travels and breeding. 3 mollusc and 12 fish species got into the Lake Tisza via one of the above specified ways of spreading. Some of them became stable members of the food network in the association of indigenous species; however, some species have already not been considered to be members of the fauna. Certain species have become invasive and they represent a serious danger to the ecosystem in Hungary. Non-native species may change former ecological relations and therefore; may exert an unpredictable influence on the biodiversity; moreover, the selection of such species is unsolved in nature.
