Absztrakt (kivonat)

As the result of a survey carried out in the urban area of Eger 7 fish species have been collected in the Eger-patak. Most of them were native considering both the number of species and the number of individuals. Besides the two protected species, the stone loach (Barbatula barbatula) and the carpathian gudgeon (Gobio carpathicus), the presence of two invasive fish were also detected. These were the prussian carp (Carassius gibelio) and the stone moroko (Pseudorasbora parva) however the number of individuals of these taxa was negligible (only 0.1% of the whole sample). On two sampling sites of the downtown section of Eger-patak we observed remarkable setback in the number of species and individuals as well, which suggests significant environmental impact and poor habitat conditions.
