Absztrakt (kivonat)
In Double Bonds. A Biographical Attempt in the Intersection of Historiography Schools and Politics ----- One will belong to the school of a professor in the academic life, if one writes the thesis or dissertation to him. In the language of network analysis: at the output point of the university hierarchical patron-client system, the interrogator of the main subject in the doctoral comprehensive exam can be seen as the hub, which is surrounded by the group of students. Other professors also teach the students, of course, and the doctoral thesis also has two opponents, so the network around the professors keep other transit points or bridges open to other patrons. One or two students tied to two professors can be seen as an interlock between two schools, as it usually considered in the history of enterprises. In this paper, I will draft what the possible ranges of movement are between the networks of students after obtaining the doctoral degree and which factors affecting these movements. The core of the story consists of series of political biography organized by three rival school-founder professors of history (Gyula Szekfű, Sándor Domanovszky, Elemér Mályusz) for their students in 1937. It can be approached from the perspective of the client (Gábor Baross, Confederation of Social Associations), but here I focus on the network, intersections and dynamics of history schools. It is worth mentioning that some of the biographies were completed, but the compilation as a whole, was never finished.
