Absztrakt (kivonat)
The Beginnings of the Librarian Higher Education in our Country, at the Time of Máté Kovács ----- In my presentation, I would like to introduce the initial stages and development steps of the librarian higher education training in Hungary, at the time of Máté Kovács. Máté Kovács was one of the most prominent representatives of the librarian cases and training in the 20th century of Hungary. He was a secondary and university teacher and as an acclaimed educator worked a lot in the formation and consolidation of the domestic librarian higher education, and he also ensured the new supplies of the librarian majors and the education of them. He emerged out of his contemporaries with his versatile scientific, educational and practical activities, with his all-time preparedness and effective organizational skills. With my presentation – so far excavated and processed sources in the mirror of manuscript archives and published documents in my research – I intend to introduce the initial formation, system, development and topical questions of the librarian education at our home Universities and Colleges. Over and above the impacts of Máté Kovács on the academic librarian training respectively on the libraries, and his efforts to strengthen these, together with the regard of the educational studies of the training.
